Fortisip and weight gain

Will i be able to gain weight drinkin the fortisip drinks, i have had cancer and use these as i´m unable to eat normally?

Answer

Having cancer or recovering from cancer effects the amount of energy your body uses, which can effects a persons weight. Further to this the side effect of certain treatments can effect how a person is able to eat and drink. This may mean that a person diet may need supplementing to insure that that individual is consuming enough energy. Fortisip can be taken o supplement your diet to help you gain weight. It may be worth discussing this with a Dietitian, who will assess tour dietary requirements and your current dietary intake, to recommend a suitable diet to hello you with weight gain.
