Xerostomia

A condition of dryiness of the mouth, caused by an inadeguate function of the salivary glands that does not produce enough saliva to keep the mouth wet. Xerostomia, also called dry mouth, can provoke troubles in tasting, chewing, swallowing, and speaking.
