Nervous system

The entire nerve apparatus composed of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and ganglia. The nervous system of an animal coordinates muscle movement, monitors the organss, constructs and processes impressions from the senses, and initiates actions. In animals with brains, it also generates and conducts thoughts and emotions. The nervous system is divided in Central Nervous System, the main portion of the information-processing organs, consisting of the brain and spinal cord, and the Peripheral Nervous System, consisting of nerves and neurons that reside or extend outside the brain and the spina cord trought the organs of the body.
